Going to the pools late in the afternoon is clearly a popular thing to do after a day at the beach or climbing Mauao because there’s quite a crowd. But slip into the steaming hot water, find yourself a seat and your mind will soon be a million miles away. The salt water feels lovely against your skin – and gives you great beach hair! Make sure you try the hot salt water jets. The water pummelling your shoulders is just about as good as a massage – bliss! If you do want a real massage, you can have one of those too. 30-, 60- and 90-minute massages are available at very reasonable prices. For those feeling active, there’s a slightly cooler pool for swimming.
