Sirikoi offers some of East Africa's best game viewing. The lodge is located on private land open to the surrounding Lewa Wildlife Conservancy, a World Heritage Site famous for protecting endangered species including black and white rhino, and Grevy's zebra.
Set in a shady acacia grove and overlooking a natural waterhole towards the slopes of Mount Kenya, Sirikoi is a secluded luxury lodge with varying accommodation options depending on the wishes of Sirikoi guests.
Room
Accommodation at Sirikoi consists of four luxury tents, a two-bedroom private cottage, and a three-bedroom private house. Neither the house nor the cottage have their own pool, but guests are welcome to use the pool at the main lodge.
Luxury Tented Rooms
With beautiful views across the lawns towards the waterholes, Sirikoi's four Luxury Tented Rooms are perfectly positioned to make the most of 'armchair' game viewing. The outside deck has a lounge chair on which to enjoy morning tea, or a sundowner, whilst inside the meticulously designed tent, another sitting area invites relaxation. The room is furnished with a large double bed or two single beds, and a wardrobe area behind the beds. A fireplace within the tent is lit each evening to warm your room. The ensuite bathroom has both shower, a free-standing bath (with views!), WC and a double sink.
Sirikoi Cottage
Sirikoi Cottage has been designed with families or friends travelling together in mind. It can be taken as a completely private and separate unit, or as an extension of the main lodge. The Cottage has two bedrooms, each of which is ensuite with bathrooms boasting shower, free-standing bath, WC and double sink. Inside the bedrooms, the large bed is flanked by a sitting area and fireplace. A shared central area with small kitchen links the bedrooms, and leads out onto a spacious deck from which to enjoy views of the waterhole and beyond.
Sirikoi House
Sirikoi House is the grandest of Sirikoi's accommodation options, recently built with stunningly furnished bedrooms and a shared central area that has become renowned for its unique positioning and decor. Each bedroom can be either a twin or double, and is sumptuously decorated with items from around the world. The front of each room enjoys a picture window almost the width of the room itself, which can be fully opened during the day. The bedrooms are all ensuite with large bathrooms boasting shower, free-standing bath, WC and double sink. Sirikoi House is only sold on an exclusive use basis, and comes with its own private safari vehicles and guides, as well as chef and team of staff.
Dining
The food at Sirikoi is excellent – no doubt due in part to their exceptional vegetable garden. Almost all the ingredients are produced on site, with only dried goods and some meat bought in. Everything is very fresh and healthy, and beautifully presented. In front of the lounge area, a large shaded decking provides the perfect breakfast and lunch location, while dinner takes place next to a roaring campfire.

Recreation
Activities at Sirikoi are numerous and you’ll be spoilt for choice. Lewa Wildlife Conservancy boasts some excellent game-viewing opportunities, with a high chance of seeing rhino and Grevy’s zebra amongst the more common game. Sirikoi always try to give everyone their own vehicle and guide for drives in Lewa, although this can’t be guaranteed in peak season. Bush walks can be arranged, too, albeit with advance notice, since an armed ranger is needed.
