The Cape Cadogan, a National Monument was always an iconic building in Gardens; moving from a domestic dwelling it had been converted to offices and occupied by a communications company for 25 years when it came on the market in 2003 and was bought be Aine and Brian Clancy. They were committed to ensuring the iconic status and integrity of the building was maintained. During 2003/2004 they led the conversion of the building into the Cape Cadogan; a concept that would allow guests from across the world the opportunity to live a very different hotel experience. The Cape Cadogan opened its doors to its first guests in February 2004 and has since hosted in excess of 8,000 guests.
Cape Cadogan Boutique Hotel has an outdoor pool and a seasonal outdoor pool. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available in public areas and a computer station is located on site. This luxury hotel offers a bar/lounge. A complimentary breakfast is served each morning. Additional amenities at this Victorian hotel include multilingual staff, laundry facilities, and a garden. For a surcharge, guests have access to a roundtrip airport shuttle (available 24 hours). Self parking is complimentary. The property has designated areas for smoking. A total renovation of this property was completed in July 2013.
